FILMING LOCATION
Kirtlington Park Estate is a wonderful setting for photography and film and offers a wide range of rural locations. We welcome all media interest and would be happy to host a production recce if you wish to get a better feel of our location. Our motto is 'difficult we do now, impossible may take a little longer.'
WATERSIDE & WOODLAND
Kirtlington Park Estate boasts three lakes, ponds, woods (planted with oaks, beech, ash, sycamore, scots pine, larch, poplar, cherry and holly), drives and tracks, open grassland, arable fields and miscanthus (elephant grass).
EQUESTRIAN
At the heart of Kirtlington Park Estate is the polo club with its seven polo grounds, scores of polo ponies and players (some of whom are seasoned extras) plus stables ranging from an 18th century stable block to two modern thoroughbred studs.
PERIOD
Kirtlington Park Estate offers a range of architectural gems including period houses and cottages, barns and farm buildings and a creepy ammo dumps. We have also converted some Victorian stone buildings into high spec offices – if any of these are empty they can be used for either office or residential shots.
Kirtlington Park House is under separate, but film-friendly ownership.
